Senior Advisor / Manager Restructuring | Transformation
We are a boutique consultancy that regularly works on exciting transformation, value creation and synergy projects for well-known private equity firms and banks. Our value proposition is the entrepreneurial realisation of change measures and processes in portfolio companies of private equity firms. To this end, we design concrete measures and plans and help with implementation on site. We have exciting and varied projects in which you, embedded in a small team of experienced and complementary professionals, optimise and further develop the business processes, reporting, corporate and profit management of large medium-sized companies and groups. You will interact with the client's employees and advise and support their heads of department.
Tasks
From analysing the company's situation and crisis situation (e.g. in accordance with IDW S6), through the creation of operational and financial concepts to business and liquidity planning, you will support companies in all phases of a project.
Variety of topics
You advise our clients, in particular on the management of the most challenging situations. As part of our team, you will coordinate restructuring and reorganisation projects together with our clients and stakeholders by identifying, modelling and helping to implement concrete steps and measures for improvement.
Responsibility
You have the knowledge and methodology to analyse the company's situation, the crisis stages and have the necessary knowledge of IDW S 6 projects and IBRs. As an experienced consultant, you create operational and financial restructuring concepts that have a lasting effect and achieve resilient results and form the basis for refinancing.
Tasks
In addition to creating restructuring and transformation projects, you will support our clients in business and liquidity planning and create the integrated planning model with the effect of measures and present these in a meaningful way (in accordance with IDW S 6/ IBR). You will be supported by our experienced industry experts and data/BI/Lucanet/ERP specialists to ensure that you receive accurate and reliable data.
Independent work
For us, good teamwork, a willingness to perform, mutual support and fun are an important part of our corporate culture and a success factor. As a rule, we are on site with the client for around 3-4 days at the start of the project and combine this with home office or office days at our location in Kerpen. We adapt our working hours to the business rhythm of our clients.
Funding
We will provide you with further training, for example in financial modelling, and accompany you on project assignments through continuous mentoring. You will learn best practices from our experienced consultants, giving you the opportunity to develop within our company and become part of a fast-growing and successful organisation.
What you need to bring
- Several years of experience (big four preferred) in the preparation, analysis and validation of financial planning, in particular liquidity planning, business planning and scenario analyses in the restructuring and refinancing environment
- Identification and realisation of restructuring and transformation projects in medium-sized company structures, including the development of planning calculations (P&L, balance sheet, liquidity) and models
- Experience in project management in complex transformation projects and have already been able to lead initial (sub-)projects as part of a team
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including complex financial models, sensitivity analyses, VBA an advantage)
- Very good presentation skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, target group-orientated preparation for C-level and investors
- Structured, analytical way of working with a high affinity for numbers
- Resilient, strong communicator, team-orientated, entrepreneurial mindset
- You have a degree in economics, business law, business informatics, business informatics with a focus on business processes, accounting or finance (or a comparable degree programme)
- You feel comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams and in a hybrid setup of remote work and travelling.
- You can communicate and present confidently in both German and English.
